AKO – Army Knowledge Online
In order to access the Army Knowledge Online (AKO) webmail system, you will need to go to the official AKO webmail login portal located here: https://www.us.army.mil  Once on their page, you just enter your username and password and you’re in.  Also, to access some features of the AKO sytem, you may need to login using a CAC card and a smart card reader.

Army Regulations
Army HQ provides a free listing of Army regulations.  These references include Army regulations, DA Pamphlets, National Guard Pamphlets, Field Manuals, etc.  The list contained on this page are the most commonly searched for army documents.

CAC Card Readers
CAC smart card readers allow you to securely connect to another computer or network for a number of different applications.  The new smart cards can be used with confidence to log on securely to network systems and websites.  Additionally, smart card readers can be used to encrypt and electronically “sign” emails and documents.
